Butterflies & Bugs: A Kids' Adventure in the Garden

  • East Hampton Historical Farm Museum 131 North Main Street East Hampton, NY, 11937 United States (map)

There's a whole world living in the garden, and this workshop is an invitation to really explore it.

Kids ages 4 - 10 get to slow down, look closely, and discover the butterflies, moths, and pollinators that call Long Island home — and learn how they help our gardens and farms grow.

They'll hunt for creatures in Matthew's Garden, make insect refrigerator magnets, and take home their own magnifying glass to keep exploring. Plus storytime and bug identification along the way.

This is the third workshop in our four-part children's series at East Hampton Historical Farm Museum, presented by ReWild Long Island and sponsored by Kiwanis Club of East Hampton.

Free. Space is limited to 15 children.

Register by Friday, May 29: call Patty Sales at 516-458-3978. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Rain or shine.
