About the Speaker
Corn Schmid is a major plant nerd (with a minor in ecosystems and microclimates). Starting in tree beds in Brooklyn, he has worked in the nursery industry and as a gardener in New York City and the East End. Please pepper him with questions about seed dormancy or soil health.
What to bring
Please dress appropriately for a walk in the woods and in areas where you may encounter poison ivy and ticks. You may want to bring water, sunscreen, or anything else you need to feel comfortable outdoors for a few hours.
