Grow your garden from the ground up!
Join us as we take the next step after our seed swaps and field seed-collecting events—we’re getting ready to sow for spring success.
What You’ll Learn
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn:
How to clean and store the seeds you collected
Best practices for sowing native flowers, grasses, and even trees
Simple techniques that set your seedlings up for strong, healthy growth
Who’s Leading
The workshop will be led by Cornelius Schmid—seed nerd, propagation expert, and longtime ReWild collaborator. You’ll also meet Master Gardeners, new gardeners, and members of the Southold Peconic Civic Association.

We’ll share a full supply list before the workshop, and we’re working on securing donated materials.

This is a free event, but a donation is suggested to help support ReWild’s educational programs and outreach. You can donate online and receive documentation for your taxes. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, EIN #84-2683325

Attendance is limited to 20 participants. If you or someone in your group can no longer attend, please let us know by 5 pm on Friday, Dec. 12 so we can offer the spot to someone else.
