Interested in an environmentally-friendly garden, but unsure of where to start? We have you covered. Discover what’s possible at our annual sustainable garden tour. We will be highlighting real-life examples of ecological landscaping near you—by your neighbors! You may be surprised to discover all the ways sustainable gardens can save you money, water and time, all while highlighting the beautiful plants of New York.
The sustainable garden tour is a collaborative effort between the Port Washington Water District and ReWild Long Island. The tour is also the first of its kind across Long Island, and is returning for the 2026 season stronger than ever. Whether it be as a registrant or volunteer, we highly encourage you to get involved and witness the natural wonder that can exist right here, at home.
When is the tour: Saturday, June 13 from 9am-12pm.
Where is it: Across Port Washington. We will begin the tour together, at the Dodge ReWild Garden (58 Harbor Rd, Port Washington).
