Lynwood Avenue Elementary School is located in Farmingville. In 2026, our PTA wanted to create a native plant garden in our communal courtyard to enhance beauty, teach our students about biodiversity, and support our local ecosystem.
This area will serve as both a place to relax during recess, and as an extension of the classroom to support learning through nature.
Our PTA, staff and students are committed to supporting our community and our environment. We look forward to watching this garden grow.
