ReWild Garden at Northport High School

In 2025, Northport High School welcomed a ReWild garden around our school’s main location sign. The blooms in this native plant garden sport our school colors while promoting climate resilience, supporting biodiversity, and providing food and shelter to pollinators and wildlife. We hope this native garden serves as an example of formal and functional landscaping for others to model.

The Northport High School Tigers love to show our STRIPES of Strength, Teamwork, Resilience, Individuality, Pride, Empathy and Success. Thanks to the Rewild Community Garden Grant our STRIPES also include:

Sustainability in landscaping

Thriving native biodiversity

Revitalizing soils and other natural cycles

Inspiration for future generations

Partnerships with students, faculty, and the larger community

Ecosystems being linked together

Sanctuary for people and wildlife
