There's a whole world soaring over the garden, and this workshop is an invitation to really explore it.

Kids ages 4 - 10 get to slow down, look and listen closely, and discover the birds flying over head that call Long Island home — and learn how to bring more to your backyard.

They'll learn about local birds, what they eat, and where they live, then discover how to attract more feathered friends to their own backyard. Kids will decorate a wooden birdhouse to take home, meet "Vlad" the turkey vulture from Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center's Birds of Prey program (selfies included!), and enjoy storytime along the way.

This is the third workshop in our four-part children's series at East Hampton Historical Farm Museum, presented by ReWild Long Island and sponsored by Kiwanis Club of East Hampton.

Free. Space is limited to 15 children.

Register by Friday, August 28. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Rain or shine.
