Discover the Downs Farm Preserve Native Meadow

Join Group for the East End and ReWild North Fork for a guided tour of the native plant meadow at Downs Farm Preserve and learn about the Monarch Waystation program through Monarch Watch.

Explore how native plants support monarch butterflies, pollinators, and other wildlife, and learn simple ways to create habitat in your own yard, neighborhood, or community. The tour will highlight the importance of connected pollinator-friendly spaces and the role they play in local ecosystems.

Please dress for outdoor conditions, including wooded areas where poison ivy and ticks may be present. Bring water, sunscreen, and any other items you may need to stay comfortable during the walk.
