Description

Southold residents are invited to celebrate spring and learn practical ways to protect the environment at the Town's Environmental Expo and Repair Cafe on Saturday, May 2 from 12-4pm at the Recreation Center on Peconic Lane. Organized by the Southold Town Conservation Advisory Council and North Fork Environmental Council, the event is an opportunity for residents to learn about the town's natural resources, engage with local environmental organizations that protect these resources and explore stewardship actions that best preserve the beautiful environment we live in.

What to Bring

We have a dozen organizations joining us (thank you!!) and 8 repair coaches will be volunteering with the Repair Cafe. Bring something with you to be repaired! A hem that needs sewing, a sweater with a hole, a knife or scissors that need sharpening, a chair with a wobbly leg, a bike that needs a little TLC.
