Tanglewood Preserve Native Plant Gardening

  • Tanglewood Preserve 1450 Tanglewood Rd Rockville Centre, NY 11570 United States (map)

Help restore and care for vital habitat at our native plant garden in Tanglewood preserve. Our garden is located next to a local pond that serves as home for a lot of wildlife! We generally meet on the first Sunday of every month from 9-11 AM until the season ends.

A few of our activities include:

  • Planting native species and collecting seeds

  • Pulling out invasive plant species

  • Maintenance activities: pruning, watering

  • Learning about sustainability and local initiatives

Our priority is to have fun, get outside, and care for our environment—so come join us!
