Picking Up your Plants

  • If you can’t pick up plants yourself, please ask a relative or a friend to do that for you that weekend. We are all volunteers and cannot really hold plants for you past the dates above.

  • Please bring your own boxes and carry the plants home in your boxes. Make little plant signs if you can. We are not guaranteeing that there will be plant identifiers in every pot.

  • Use space vertically in your vehicle by using stackable boxes or milk cartons for smaller plants.

  • When you come in, please be respectful of others and wait if the pickup area looks busy. We want to ensure everyone’s safety — your patience and courtesy to others is most appreciated.

  • We understand emergencies and will accommodate you when possible. However, we are not responsible for plants left with us past the pickup date for your location. All plants remaining after the date for that location will be gratefully accepted for donation to a community space!

  • In order to keep the lines moving, we will be unable to entertain questions during the distribution of the plants. Please take pictures of your plants when you pick up, as well as your order sheet. You can always email or call us later.

Unavailable Plants and Refunds

  • The good news is that most plants you ordered are available with nurseries.

    • We allocated plants using first come first served, i.e., we prioritized those who ordered earlier.

    • There still may be some “surprises” when nurseries fail to deliver plants that they have confirmed.

  • After the pickups are done, we will send you a note confirming the size of the refund, with a list of plants you did not get.

    • If we got that list wrong, please write us back and let us know.

    • If you feel generous, appreciate our hard work, and can spare the money, please drop us a note and let us know to keep the refund as a donation from you. Thanks if you choose this option! Write to us if you need a receipt for the refund.

    • All refunds will be done two weeks after pickup date. Thanks for your patience.

  • In any case, please take a photo of the updated order and of the plants you’re picking up. Take them home. If there is a problem, we can resolve it via email. Please don’t hold up the line, and the pick up line may not be conducive to a detailed discussion.

  • Be assured that our primary goal is to help you raise happy and healthy native plants, not making money!
